yes it's easy to get to the servos, the batt and the receiver, it's all under one cover, and the only screw kit i know of is a stainless steel one. it's and all around solid truck, you should be happy with it

That's funny... 'cause I've heard just the opposite from some Savage owners... I have never had a problem working on my truck... nor does it break down a lot

Apart from the radio tray which is quite convenient, much as I love the Savage, I have to confess it is a pain to work on. At least compared to the racing buggies and truggies that I am more used to. I've never owned a Revo, so can't comment on it.

agreed foxy, especially if your still running the old tranny case, and diff setup, the new easy acess cases cut out allot of work when it comes to maintainance, but it still takes a few times to get it down and be fairly quick at it

thats funny,my maxxs are the least likely to break, but then again there not stock, for some reason the stock maxx just seems to come apart, starting with the tranny, then moving on through the drive train,i have always been impressed with the stock revo drivetrain, its stout

The savage can be a pain in the butt, but I don't have to take it apart to much. I also have the MGT and that thing is easy to work on I like to work on it and that is my truck that I did up. My one bud runs a revo the other a t-maxx and from what I saw it is easyer then the savage. The savage is a fine truck and with the 3spd is a lot of fun, if you know how to jump and bash with some common sense the truck will not break all that much. I have the savage X and was told by some of my buds it's slow and it is but it runs all day long with no problems untill my kid had it for a day[:@].

the savage so far only broke a hub carrier (hitting a garbage can at 2 mph)bent the dogbone on that side and melted a spur 2 times. it also has the 24.7 motor in it, alot faster than stock but still mot as fast as the lst2
