What is a good smallblock for a Maxx?
Does anyone have any links for good prices?
I notice the Sirio is well over $250 at Tower.
I'm looking for something around $150.

I just got a .15 Fantom FR15 from Stormer Hobbies. It is rated at 1.25 horsepower, 42,000 rpms...supposed to be a real badass. I haven't put it in yet, so I don't know. Also, I don't know if it will fit on a T-Maxx. Anyway, it was $135. Just a thought, check it out.

I'm putting mine on a Duratrax MT, converted to an ST. I've done a few upgrades to it but wanted more snot in the engine dept. It hardly looks like the the same rig. This should make it scream. i8tweety told me about the Fantom, he knows what's up. Thanks dude.

If I was looking for a good race engine, I would go with a picco .15, or a RB C12. The 2 best small blocks that are a direct fit for the maxx, but crank will have to be cut!!
The last time I bought these, the picco ran about $180, and the Rb ran something like $170, now that was about 9 months ago, so the prices might have dropped a little!!
