Boys' trucks are finally done! Whew!
Finally finished my boys trucks.
First one, an E-Zilla. Pretty much stock. FLM extended TVPs, an upgraded steering servo, beadlocks with Proline Moabs topped with a Chevy body I painted. Cells are 2 x 6 cell 4600 rocket packs, Orion's I think.
This truck is for my 4 year old. I have a Futaba radio on it, one of the programmable electronic ones and I dial the throttle down to about 45%. He can actually drive the truck really well and is getting better very quickly.
The other one is a well modded e-maxx. This one has an FLM extended chassis/braces, 3.3 axles, hard coated pillow balls, RPM front axle carriers, RPM rear true-track, RPM skids, RPM 3.3 a-arms, EVX-2, Revolver 650s, 17mm adapters, Axial beadlocks on bow-ties, big bore shocks, 3.3 shock towers and a few more goodies. Topped off with a Bronco body and powered by 12 Intellect VESC matched 4200 cells.
This is for my 6 year old, and he can almost handle the truck at full speed (80% throttle). He can get a little carried away, but I am about to give him full reins.

Hey, he's put a few pairs of packs through and only had one near miss. I hear ya though, he requires adult supervision and a wide open area. Plus, its off limits to his friends.
I graduated him up from this fella; he has never had a single mishap with this truck.

Spoiling those kids will only probably be detrimental to them in the future, so I wouldn't give them those trucks. Instead send it my way b/c I'm already a grown man (usually) so it won't have any negative effects on me what so ever
Man, those are some lucky little kids..........you the DAD!

Its what happens when dad's into the hobby and he doesn't even need a reason to build a few more trucks.

nice build ups on those trucks. i like the way you did the e-maxx. i cant imagine those truck in the hands of kids so young. thats good though.i can barely take my eyes off my 12yr old little brother with my rustler....and its nowhere near those trucks. way to start them off right pop. most kids have a radio shack nikko or tyco at that age.
