Anyone have the GS Racing SUT
I can't seem to find much about these trucks anywhere.
My LHS has one and I think it is a .28 but I cant find anything about it on the GS site.
Are they good bashers?
Are they strong?
Or can someone provide me with any information at all/
Thanks.

RE: Anyone have the GS Racing SUT
My brother had one they are buggy based with wheel extensions and come with a sh 26 engine,
I never drove it while it was standard
but he put on an 18t clutch bell, took off the wheel extensions and put buggy wheels on it, the sportwerks turmoil body fitted with little work
And when i got to drive it it was so quick and would jump real well, also seemed to be very tough as i had some very hard landings without breakage

I own 2 gs storm sut truggies. They both come with a mt .25 motor, are basically buggies with wheel extenders to mount truggy like tires. They are very tough as long you don't hit walls. They are great bashers but the stock steering servo is kind of cheap. I would look around a bit as they are becoming out dated and you can get a newer Model gs storm truggy for around the same price or lower. I have found parts hard to find and quite expensive. They are a good truggy though. I just wanted give you heads up on the parts concerns. amainhobbies.com is one of the main suppliers for parts for this truggy.
Good luck

RE: Anyone have the GS Racing SUT
Thanks for the reply.
I think this is the one that my LHS has.

Or it at least looks the same.
Im going down tomorrow afternoon to get my LHS to have a look at my MG10 (stupid pull start is stuck for some reason) and will have a better look at the SUT.
I wish I could get a T-Maxx 3.3 or Savage XL but they cost about AU$800-900.

Identical to what I have. I'll let you on a little hint, You can buy a losi roto start plate that will bolt directly up for around 5 or 8 us dollars. I think the one for the .21 fit. You will also need losi's roto starter and battery pack.

RE: Anyone have the GS Racing SUT
The Storm SUT pretty much started the truggy class , it was allowed too race with the MT's but it wooped their butts so bad it was banned in the MT class .
My buddy has one and he had 12+ gallons on the motor before it died , and has bashed/raced it for a long time .
Its pretty durable , but he has snapped the bell crank link and a rear pin block .
