I am not too sure you will get much help!
Once you came out and said that you scammed some poor little kid! You should be ashamed of yourself! I have a used conversion kit for sale for $400! What comes around goes around!

Actualy if you read into it a little closer, Im thinking he was talking about a COMPLETE tmaxx for $70 not just the engine!! Although $70 seams a little far fetched, you never know!!

Yeah, I guess I just wasn't reading into it too deep!! LOL
Anyway, yeah $70 is a great deal for a TMAXX!! Wow, a .21 conversion on a 1st gen MAXX would be cool, but a challenge I would suppose!

It's not hard at all!
I have 2 .21 Maxx's and you can have it done in no time at all! If you have all of the parts to do it you can do it in about 4-5 hours if you have never done it before and in 2-3 if you have! There is nothing like a .21 in the a Maxx! I am rebuilding my Stampede and MT Pro right now and was trying to figure a way to put a .21 in the Stampede but so, nota! I need a side exhuast engine to do it and I don't want to spend anymore money right now!

LOL, good deal you got there! An XTM 21 conversion and a 24.7 (the new head version) should do, BUT you will need to beef up the drivetrain with hardened steel gears in the tranny and maybe CVDs for the four wheels and tranny shafts.
I still like my Maxx with the XTM .18, it's plenty fast and still light (just over 8 lbs) but stuff breaks like hell.
