Converting a Kyosho HOR to Direct Steering?
Absolutely hate the rate mine turns at. Takes at least 10 ft to do a 180 turn.
Would like to see what it takes, and how to change it to a direct steering bike.

make sure your steering litimer is off so you have full steer of the servo. Slower speeds will give you shorter turns. That was my 1st mistake when I got my HOR.
Did you check Ians site?

tons of articles that might help.

what model radio do you have is the 1st question I have? I used the the basic futaba duratrax radio. You might have a nob that say D/R on it. Turn it all the way to the right clock wise. This will allow youe servoc to have all of the steer you need for tight turns. If it is the other direction then that is why you are getting such a big turn radious.
Here is a video I put together from last years runs.
