RE: Some RC Motorcycle Racing Pics
My red carbon chassis (the skull bike above) was custom made for me by DRP bikes in Illinois for an article I did in RCCA. I don't believe that they are making parts any more, but you can go to drpbikes.com to get the contact info.
It started off as a Thunder Tiger FM-1e bike, but everything but a layshaft, the headstock, and battery tray have been replace with aftermarket parts.
Oh, and if you feel like it, take a listen to my RC bike podcast at 2wheelrcpodcast.com or search for "Lito Reyes" in the iTunes store.

That's right you started with Ian and the rest of the guys from the old HOR TT days. Beleive it or not I traded my HOR streight up for my TTe Ducati. Man did I make out. My buddy just got a like new FMe1. God I love that single sided swing arm. I also see you have the current world speed record with what looks like a hopped up TTe Mamba. Very cool.

derbi: It does sound like you made out on that deal. But I've made deals before where I know that the other guy was getting a huge bargain, but I wanted something very specific. As long as everyone is happy.
You know, I loved the single-sided swingarm for convenience and looks until about the 7th time I had to replace that stepped washer on the axle. So my buddy and I designed the TorqueWorks Racing dual-sided swingarm.
Now that there are two of you in Rochester (so, how much snow do you get a year??) with bikes you can start racing!!!!

RE: Some RC Motorcycle Racing Pics
We have our 1st practice this Sunday. I am so excited to finally race rc bikes I can hardly sleep. I have been into bikes for some time but I was the only one running bikes. Now it seems more are getting involved with the 2 wheelers since I tend to show off the bikes when ever I can. Eveyone loved the HOR but the kits are too much time. Everybody wants rtr so as far as I know now the GPV-1 will be a big hit around here.
I'll try to get some vid and shots of the meet. We have two guys coming in from out of town to race with us.
