Here are some more photos, sorry if you're getting sick of seeing it, but I'm just so happy with it!
Should be good with these Mesh wheels running Proline Road Rage tyres!

I just bought new suspention arms for mine yesterday.I asked the LHS about whether or not I could get them in aluminum. he said that they weren't available. where did you get yours and what did they cost? They look great!

Windowlicker..
Nice ride, how is your exhaust bent?? Depending on what you have done, if you fill it will water and put it in the freezer with the holes covered, when the water freezes it will expand and reshape your exhaust.
On another note, my firestorm wont idle correctly, the base settings seem to be way off. It will idle quite high and when I brake it stalls, even though the carb is at the same position as idle.. Any ideas??

Something like a rock must have hit the front of the exhaust, which has pushed the entire exhaust back and bent the U pipe connecting to the engine, instead of a U shape, its now more than a 180 degree bend, so the exhaust is pointing in toward the body of the car and blocking the pull start. A workshop technician at my Uni said he will help me heat it and straighten it sometime this week. Cheers for the tip though!

I know, I'm a little confused as to how it happened! Never noticed it until I stripped the car to clean it and put the new parts on. Must have been when it was away in the distance!

Sick ride man!
As for the axle rubbing, that looks like a simple dremeling/filing job to put a little indention in.
I'm debating on buying a Hot Bodies lighting gt10 sport truck, or upgrade the firestorm.
The gt 10 has the same motor as the firestorm, so id be working with same stuff.

Yea I had the same problem with the arms, I just used a cut off wheel and removed all the webbing in that spot. After I was finished it looked just like the factory plastic ones. And concerning the screws, atleast remove them and loctite them. This will save you big time!

Anybody know where I can get some front A arms?I have 4 sets ordered and have been told there on backorder.I went to LHS and ordered a pair and went to my usual place online and they can't get them eaither.I have had this thing about a month and the one A arm came broke at the pin. It's still drivable but I want to jump it and can't till I get a new A-arm[] This is a badazz truck and can't wait till I can jump it.So who has front A-arms in stock? Thanks

Nice one widow. Where did you get the Ali parts. i can't seem to find any anywhere. The only part I can find seems to be the Rear hub carrier. I would like to do the same to mine, but just need the ali parts.

Here is a link to their eBay store, everything you want should be there.
Only thing I would not bother buying is the Engine Mounts, they are not engine mounts, as I have said before, but just a cable router which you cant see and is pointless replacing for an ally one!

HEY windowlicker nice firestorm. check mine out is on page 44. anyway, to fix ur suspension travel issues just cut the pice where the shaft is grinding and u should be fine. your arms will not bend they're alloy and they'll be lighter.

I ordered my parts from them on the 10th and got them about 8-9 days later. They're really good and much recommended as they put on the parcel that the contents are worth nothing, like 5 dollars. If the contents are worth more than £18 your parcel will get stopped by customs and you will be charged Tax and a handling fee. I bought some parts from another US seller on eBay which came to about £25 and it cost me about £13 to collect my parcel from the post office!
bizarre hobbies wrote on my parcel that it was worth 6 dollars when it was over 110 dollars which meant that it cost me nothing to receive it. I highly recommend them, they're very quick at delivery considering it is international. Buy the parts from them!

Here's a video I put together of my bro's savage W/LRP Spec 3 engine and of my Firestorm W/moabs!(I should have put the stock Firestorm race tires on,as I needed acceleration more than anything.I also needed to tune the HSN and the LSN,as the temps went no further than 210*).In summary we had a lot of fun,but my bro got 2 disc brakes for his savage which is why you see him flip front a few times! http://s258.photobucket.com/albums/h...avageVideo.flv

Well the firestorm lives again. After that nasty hole in the engine block, and a fresh G3.0 it's running. I broke it in today and had some fun. I just wish we could tune our gearing a little better (not just CB). Anyone know of spur gears that fit?
