Default compression on a new motor

ok my buddy just got a brand new motor and it has never been used and the compression isnt very strong one you put the flywheel on you can turn it prety easy... and yes the glow plug is in. You can feel the pinch up top in the cylinder because of the way it goes through. is it bad there aint much compression?

I have had some engines that started out looser than others , could be normal .

What engine is it ? Did you check the bolts on the cooling head and make sure they are tight ?
