New paint job R34 not quite what I wanted...
Here's a pic of the R34 body I just finished. The carbon graphite and bottom part of the body turned out great but the top half w/ anodized aluminum silver not so well... it also has led head lights, side turning lights including the side mirrors and tail lights.
I'm very disappointed with the way the top turned out, should have gone straight silver instead of trying to be fancy. Won't make that mistake again.
I also tried to smoke the body in front of the lights but that didn't turn out either...

RE: New paint job R34 not quite what I wanted...
Thanks guys, it was really only the second body I'd done but was still hoping for better results. I've bought another body to see if I can do better and will use this one for bashing.
I think I spent more time on the body than I did on building the car.... anyway, it runs like snot with the xcelorin in it so it should be going so fast no one will even notice.

Clean the Shell with a mild Washing Detergent, Rinse in Cold water, Allow it to dry or Towel dry with a Lint free cloth... Apply your window masks....
Then do Slow, Multiple Coats and allow at least 15-30 mins between coats... This shoulds stop that Finger print/ Runny look you ended up with...
For a Second Shell it looks great...
I have done nearly 30 shells and some still end up stuffing up... Like painting on a windy day... Or rushing the job..
