Default Orange Satellite Rx compatible with Spektrum Rx?

Just wondering if the HK Dsm2 satellite Rx is compatible with regular Spektrum Dsm Rx?

Has anyone tried?

Yep. I use it on my Spektrum DSM2 module on my 9C. Works great.

That's good to know! Thanks Joe.

BTW did you do any testing like shielding the main Rx to see if the transmit the signal 4 sure?

No testing. I just put it in a 32" Foamy and flew it indoors. Not a single glitch in 10 flights. My friend had same results. Are we talking about the OrangeRX Spektrum compatible 4-channel? That's what I'm using.

No. I was talking about the satellite Rx that is made for the 6ch Orange Tx. I was wondering if the they would work on the "real" Spektrum Rx.

It says it's DSM2 compatible. They are made for the Orange 6ch that is also DSM2

Zor - Vasek is asking if Joe tried to simulate the signal to the RX being Blocked or Shielded by perhaps a component of the aircraft (large metal engine, etc.).

If you get it and it's not compatible, just order the 6 channel orange rx for 8 bucks (when they get more) and you're only in for $23 plus shipping.
Horizon gets $35 plus shipping for a spektrum brand remote rx.

Ooooh ok. sorry.

If you look at the customer comments in the reviews tab, it looks like two different guys answered your questions (coments 7 and 8):

Apparently it does work with Spektrum receivers. Crazy. I would have never guessed that. Still not sure I'd risk mixing on bigger and more expensive planes. Foamies no problem.
