Spektrum Servos With Older 72mhz Radio

I have an electric plane I am trying to get running. It has the mini servos installed and when I plug them into either my Futaba or JR receiver the servos will twitch but don't move when input is given. I know the TX and RX both work fine. Any ideas as to what is going on here?

Make sure the + and signal wires are in the correct order. IIRC Airtronics was switched from Futaba/JR.
