anyone have pinouts for Hitec (Prism 7x) Trainer Jack?
I want to build a PC simulator cable for my Hitac Prism &x tx. I know that some trainer jacks have a way to disable the RF out, but I don't know if the 7X has that and what the pinouts are.
Anyone know?

I have read the following on this matter:
Therefore, it stands to reason Hitec uses the same method of shutting off the RF circuits as Futaba (for those transmitters which suport it), by connecting pins 4 & 5 together.
Contact pin configuration viewed on female plug mating face :
1 = +V batteries (SWITCHED)
Shield = GROUND
2 = OUT
3 = IN
4 = +V Connecting pin 4 and 5 to each other on some transmitters will stop the HF-transmission and thus the transmiiter will not send out any signal.
quoted from http://users.belgacom.net/TX2TX/tx2t...h/tx2txgb3.htm
"All Hitec buddy box sockets are from the same type as Futaba DIN-socket with 6 contacts. The Hitec and Futaba radios are fully compatible except that Hitec recommend the use of their trainer cord #5810 which has one end labelled "Master" and the other "Slave". The slave end has pin 4 and 5 shorted out (pin 4 and 5 connected to each other)."

Refer to "Buddy Boxes. Servo Leads.Simulators.Interface"
at http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~atong/ for full details
especially "TX 2 TX"
and "Simulator controllers"
There is a major difference in the way the Futaba and Hitec leads are wired in that the Hitec have two pins on the student end shorted together.

Also, if you hadn't noticed, the link I had provided was the same one your first link points to. I merely jumped straight to the page in question.
