RE: Walkera 4#3b & Airtronics RDS8000 2.4GHz
Unfortunately, the answer is, "No."
All 2.4Ghz spread spectrum radio systems are proprietary in nature. Each manufacturer, like with PCM radio systems, uses a unique digital signaling method that makes using different brands of transmitter and receiver generally impossible.
At some level, most of the "generic" 2.4Ghz transmitters and receivers out there from RTF helicopter packages (ESky, Walkera, etc.) probably come from the same OEM manufacturer and may operate together on a case-by-case basis. I haven't seen any information on attempts to document compatibility or non-compatibility between different brands of equipment, however.
It's not impossible that a Walkera 2.4Ghz receiver or 3-in-1/4-in-1 combo unit might work with an Airtronics RDS8000, you wouldn't hurt anything by trying to bind such a receiver to your Airtronics transmitter. It's just 99.999% likely that it won't work.
