Certain Frequency???
There's a choice of approximately 50 aircraft frequencies for use in the US with no licencing required, and another appx 10 for HAM licenced R/C aviation use. There is no FCC regulation about what size plane uses what frequency.
It is a good idea to check with the local club(s) where you would be flying, and try to get afrequency ythat isn't used by several regular flyers. If 2 people show up with the same frequency, you may have to wait 10to 20 min to get the frequency pin. If 5 show up with the same frequency, you might get in one flight out of a 5 hour visit to the field. (waiting for the pin and the instructor to be available at the same time...)

Good trainer. The structure is very rugged, but nothing will survive every possible impact. It likes being flown slow. Too fast makes the controls overly sensitive. Most of the time you should use 1/2 to 2/3 throttle.
Don;t forget to get an experienced R/C pilot to assist ESPECIALLY the first day. (and after that, you'll believe you need the help for several more trips to the flying field...)

Certain Frequency???
Hello; I started with a PT 40 and a Saito 45 about 12 years ago, I flew it for ten years, then donated it to my club to be used as a club trainer. It has crashed many times, once spent 6 months in an old cedar tree, and has trained maybe 20 new flyers past the trainer stage. I regard it as one of the best choices I made in planes. Build it just the way the instructions say and you will have a tough reliable trainer.
