Ahh yes.
Could be a bad servo, or the linkage is really mis adjusted.
If you have another servo, swap it out. Or just try playing with the linkage adjustments.
You might want to set your radio (TX) to a 0 setting with power on while adjusting (don't start the car though) then look at the carb opening. Should be 1 mm open.

Well raise the car, fire it up and play with the throtle from your radio...just watch what happens,what's the servo reaction with the engine on and in what position it flames out. This would help us a lot.

my t-15 evo used to do that. on mine it was not the carb. leaking. i took the roto start assembly off. there was airleaks around where it bolted to the crankcase. i installed the pull start instead but before i did i cleaned it all up and used permatex ultra copper silcone gasket maker and that problem never arose again. i wish hpi made a standard backplate so i could get rid of all that crap anyway because i use a bump box.

i figured the problem out with my car it was with the carbureter now it runs right but it takes forever to start now lol
