The wheel adapter in the picture is used on a tire truer. Adapters for 1/8 scale tires you would have to get them from Wolfpack Radicals. I am not sure if Wolfgang makes them anymore.you may have to try ebay. Or you can get some 40mm wide tires from RC Market they require no adapters to fit.

has an extra pair there trying to let go. It would be a big help if u can send me a pixs of it, the exact 1 i need for my kit, i've seen yours, but not 2 sure if ver.1 uses
the same adapter.

You might try sending Wolfgang a email at [email protected] to see if he has any. You may want to check RC Market to see if they have any 40mm wide rear tires. They will fit without any adapters.

Wolfgang doesn't make the parts anymore since maybe about 5-6 years ago now. I bought a few sets that he had but later found that just using the 40mm foams work just as good and are lighter while still using the regular 1/10th scale hubs.

How could you make the motor mounts to stuff a .19 is engine in the nitro tc3 ???

What brand of motor is it?? Ofna has a bunch of adjustable motor mounts you should check them out. If none of the Ofna will work, you will have to make your own

Here is a link to the Ofna website take a look at their adjustable motor mounts see if any will work for you http://www.ofna.com/engine-mounts.php If none of them will work for you you have 2 options left make the mounts yourself or go to a machinest =$$$ I would try to make them myself first. This one from nitrohouse .com might work ofn37957 you might have to do some grinding on it to get it to work.

What clutch are you running with that big block ? Also, may I see how you did your motor mounts ? That's also a pain in the butt just by looking at it .

....................The clutchbell I believe was one from a 1/8 scale Losi truck called a LST. I think the clutch shoes were from a ofna 1/8 scale offroad. The mount were made from a piece of alumnium bar I got from Lowes. You will have to do some measuring and cutting. Can't tell you the dimensions exactly because I don't have that car anymore.

Is this worth it ? I mean if I'm putting all this money and time into this, I want it to be as fast and as controllable . looking to drag race this car .

Yes , if it is what you want to do. If you want to be fast it cost money. If you want it to be fast and controllable thats up to you you have got to learn how to set the car up and develope driving skills. And it takes time you must have patience because alot of the times you have to make the part you need. All the answers to your questions are in this thread . Your biggest expense should be modified motors tires and gears. For your nitro tc-3 that should not be that expensive. One thing about the Nitro TC-3 the diff gears are weak they are made out of plastic and usually will not last when you put a high output motor in it. Ebay sells some steel diff gears for the Nitro TC-3 you may want to check them out if you are planning on doing some serious drag racing. Good luck!! I don't drag race anymore I switched over to 1/5 scale I like it better because after the intial investment up keep is cheaper.!!

Something else you may not need to buy motor blocks , have you checked to see if this 19 size motor will fit on the engine blocks you already have ?? Sometimes all it takes to make it work is to drill a extra set of holes.

Well I took it to a local hobby shop today and he told me that I had to make a metal plate to cover the whole thing where the engine sits . with that plate in place, drill the new holes there . but he said it wouldn't be worth the try cause when you drill the holes in there places, you put the screws to hold down the engine and once you start to drive it, the screws are going to be hitting the ground and messing them up ...

With that said I decided to buy a trx 3.3 engine and heavy modify it . I have spoken to the guys from rb mods and they all said that once I go heavy modded on the trx 3.3, it would really wake that sucker up
He gave me some good prices to mod the engine . even bore out the carb to fit a .21 carb on it . so I think that I'm gonna go with this setup . he also told me that with the trx 3.3 modded, it can keep up with most of the bb engines out there . so let's see .

I didnt do all that to mount my big block!! I just went to Lowes purchased a piece of alumnium bar stock for a couple of bucks, did some measuring then cut the 2 pieces out, drilled the holes in the blocks then mounted them. A OS .18 TZ should be a drop in fit. If you go with that highly modified traxxas motor from RB mods you will be blowing diffs . The stock diffs in the associated are made out of plastic and won't stand up to heavy use drag racing. Check out E-bay a dealer sells steel diffs for the Nitro TC-3 . Good Luck with your racing.

Sorry, DragRacer_Jerrie I never used a wheelie bar. But I did notice that this link sells wheelie bars http://www.teamwalbern.com/wheelie_bars.html You would have to do some fabrication to make them fit on your Nitro TC-3.

Have anyone heard of the moddler that's called PS mods ? Just wanted to make sure he is real or not ?
