Sources seem to point it is a small crawler, along the lines of more the DuraTrax mini-crawler. Though I would believe with them now having 2 2.2 tires this should be a normal 2.2 class truck with some typical Losi innovations.

XXXnt shocks

Dang! I was hoping this would be a 1/10 scale crawler. 1/18 is just too small for any serious crawling. I will still give it a fair chance though but Im gonna buy a crawler soon and aint gonna wait until August. Im gonna get an AX10 I guess. There is finally a promo video of the Duratrax Cliff Climber out on youtube now. It is a bit disappointing. You just dont get enough bang for the buck with it. And the dual motor/battery setup it too much of a hassle for a crawler of its size. The Losi on the other hand is a nice looking ride. Looks very promising. I just think 1/10th would be better.[]

When I have the money I will definately be getting one of these. Also I don't think the price tag is too bad considering you get a 2.4ghz radio and battery and everything.

The body is killer, but I like the design of the duratrax one better.

first duratrax and now losi... what are these companies thinking.... ever seen a 1/18th scale crawler compentition? No, you see 1/10th scale comps with 2.2 wheels (or bigger) why would they come up with something so obviously NOT what people are looking for...
Crawling, while pretty big compared to what it was a few years ago, is still pretty small in the big picture... they are trying to find a niche within a niche....[:@]

come on, lets have some more 1/10th crawlers!!!

ORIGINAL: hands without shadows

The TLT was 1/18th too......
thats true, but it was a big 1/18... its 4 inches wider (and a couple inches longer wheelbase) than this new losi thing, so lended itself to being streched better. plus it was built with a 540 motor right out of the box... im wondering if the losi has plastic or metal R&P in its diffs, and if its drivetrain can handle a 540 motor....

judging by the pics i've seen of the duratrax its like 90% of all dura trax it looks like milions were put into the design process then they got a 2 yearold to carve the molds with a butter knife and piece it together. But the losi should be pretty cool. I ordered a losi about a month ago...

From what I hear it has a Mini-T center transmission (and why wouldn't it?). If you want you can get the whole thing in metal. I dont know if that is beefy enough for 540.

They make the best shocks and tires for other crawlers, so it only makes sense they come out with an entire rig.

Small but cool.
