Which one would you choose?
Hi,
I'm thinking for asking Santa for a Crawler
From the choices below, which would YOU choose & why?
1-King Land Rover
2-AX10 Scorpion
3-Race Roller
4-Crawler 1:8

I would go with the AX10. There is alot of after market support and lots of different chassis setups. Check out this site www.tcscrawlers.com they have lots of after market parts for the crawlers.

RE: Which one would you choose?
Are you serious about crawling as in competition or is it more for fun with your friends? I have an AX10 and it is a great truck with loads of aftermarket stuff available, but it would not be much competition for the Losi crawler without several mods. I really like the look of the Crawler King so if you like more scale crawling ability, that might be the way to go.....that or an SCX10 TR.

1)Crawler King is just a fun bash-around truck. Requires serious mods to be a dedicated crawler.
2)Axial AX10 - Lots of configurations designed to work for different purposes. The ARTR is probably the best bet for a serious crawler. It has a bunch of upgrades already included and has the most potential outta of the box as a serious crawler. It is probably the most adaptable truck out there too. You can easily set it up as basher if you wanted.
3)LCC - Competition only. It will not go fast. Worm gears are inefficient and cut your battery life by probably 1/3 if not more. Not a big deal since competition runs are never more than 10 minutes. It's designed to work with brushless. It will work with brushed, but it take some experimenting and research to find a motor/gearing/electronics combo that doesn't experience overheating problems.
4)Super (1/8) crawlers are fun, but it's usually harder to find challenging terrain to run on. They're more expensive and require more work getting them setup due to running dual motors. That particular crawler (Integy) is junk.
Out of all those, I chose the LCC since I don't bash and the only time I run the thing is at comps and I want to be as competitive as possible without me having to do alot of experimenting with setup. A Berg is kinda the end-all-be-all for comp crawlers right now, but I don't have the inclination to mess with them.

RE: Which one would you choose?
well im axial threw and threw, i have used axial performance nitro engines with great results, i have the ax10, its also realyl great, extremely adaptable, great aftermarket parts base, and for the price, its right. im partial to the axial mainly because i dont do competitions, i can run it in my crawler course, take it to creek beds, switch up my pinion gear and spur gear and have a truck that will run 20 mph for fun, id go with the axial, it easy coice for me

I would also say that maybe the Axial would be a better choice if you don’t plan to compete much, although I have been enjoying my Losi all over the place. For me, the performance it has cancels out the negatives it has.
I went with the Losi, but the Axial was a very close second choice. They drive so differently; I want them both.
