Another club member and myself have tried tandem with a couple foamies and it is much harder than it looks.
Man if yours flies anything like those 3 then you have a whale of a plane, they really are a sight in the air and should make you want to see yours there. It really is quite a plane.

Robert, I checked out the link on Jim Leroy. Nice!! There's a lot of good pics. Ya, thanks Grover1... It's going to be another beautiful plane. I'm really excited about it. Thanks Robert!!
Working on the electronic list for it. Should have it in a few days.

Don't know why it double posted...in a bad reception area doesn't help.

Great, because I'm pretty excited about it. Well guys, Robert and I spoke on the phone and got to know a little bit about each other and we also worked out a deal that fits the both of us. I think better for me considering we all know what an awesome builder he is. He is going to build another EMHW Pitts s1s also with Valach motor for me that is semi scale but, based more on performance in Jim Leroy's Bulldog scheme. So, as I was saying I'm pretty excited!!

Ok, just because I'm not covering the wing does not mean I'm not working. Spent the morning finishing up the put up in my room, it's good for now. Then I went and started the finish on the kitchen cabinets, a good coat of stain. Whilst that dries, overnight, I brought the fuse back in and fitted the new canopy. Fits like a glove, now to set the laser up overhead to mark the joint. Then I can start building (glassing) the frame work, and make the rail frame mounts. Woo Hoo!!

Good for you squirrly. You'll have one heck of a pitts that will be a head turner anywhere you take it. Robert is a master builder, at least in my book.

Yep, feel pretty good about it. I promised the wife that I would sell off a few older planes and a couple of helis to make up for some of the cost. Didn't tell her how much it cost but, kinda gave it away when I said it was my dream plane. Ha ha... Don't get me wrong she is very supportive and knows this stuff isn't cheap so I'm pretty lucky there to.
Robert, that second pic of the Bulldog you posted is the one...

I decided after getting the canopy fitted that I wanted a better fitting windscreen frame. The previous one fit but was just a smidgeon off. So, that is what I have done since last post. I wonder if I will ever get this one done.
