The prop has been painted, decals added, and everything has been given two coats of clear. I will let all this set until this evening and then start assembly. I did gently slide the prop on to get a looksee.

Oh BABY! That looks NICE! Some how I've got to get out your way to see that thing in person. Or let me know when you are headed west, maybe I could arrange some sort of vacation, just not tell the wife why we're going.

I used a couple fasteners and some tape to hold things in place and it works very well with a nice tight fit at the joint. If you look where the canopy meets the windscreen you can just see the glass underside piece. That underside piece should keep the wind from getting in between the two.
The paint and clear coat is still a bit soft, un-cured, so I am going to wait until tomorrow to permanently bolt it all together.

It is amazing with all this bird has going on that the prop and spinner adds more appeal. On the canopy I need some brass strips for the mount, nuts and washers are to long, so I will thread the brass and then the canopy will be done.
I have started on the pilot, right now I have a tube being glue in from the body bottom to the top of the head. When that cures I can add the limbs, add some padding, and then clothes.

The canopy is bolted on and working, now to add the rest of the screws. I can not believe I am finally here, woo hoo!!
It is raining here and suppose to until Thursday so putting the wings on and loading it in the trailer will have to wait a couple days.

You're on the straight and narrow now Ace, looking good... The pilot figure looks better under the new canopy, nice fit !!
The prop... all I can say is Wow, that came out nice!... if you do the same with the 3 bladed prop, its going to look even better.

Robert,
I tip my hat and bow to you. Awesome effort and result. I am sure you are proud and you should be. I am sure there will be plenty of guys drooling all over the thing when you take it to the field. I would love to be there for the maiden. If I just lived a few hundred miles closer.
Enjoy the ride!!!

Thank you Anthony and everyone else, it has been a long and at time's drawn out road. I need to flex my thumbs a bit before the maiden for I have not been flying much in the last several months. But, the Eagle will be assembled, in the trailer, and returning home this week in preparations for flight. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks but as with the build I am not going to rush it, when I am ready it will get done.
Thank you to everyone for your support and bearing with me to the end.
Is their someone out there in RC land capable and willing to aid me in clothing Jacquie. I can't find anything in the size that is appropriate. I need a pair of pants, a turtle neck shirt, and would like a jacket. My sewing machine is toast so in order for me to make them I would have to replace it, find some patterns, learn how to do everything and right now I am burnt out on learning. And nothing has to be anywhere near perfect for most will be unseen fastened into the harness.
Thank you.

Rob, have you gone online to see if any of the Barbie clothes would fit. Even a drive to the toy store. I made my helicopter pilot out of a gijoe. I had to cut a portion of the body out but, the clothes still worked. Good luck.

Wish I could be more of assistance, but that's one area I just would not attempt to do... its funny, we're good with our hands and shape metal and wood into something marvelous, but put a needle and thread in my hands, and I haven't got a clue.

There was a lady here that did that kind of thing but she has been gone a long time. Check with a doll store there is a big market for custom clothes for antique dolls and that is where you will have the best luck. The antique doll clothes require a level of attention to detail equal to the detail of your airplane.
