Half Scale Nieuport 11

OK, how about if we make the weight addition statement a Corollary to the Second Rule ?
Regarding your First Rule on too much power: Some years ago while working at Edwards AFB I attended a presentation by Convair in which the company touted the many great features of their newly-flown YF-16 lightweight fighter. This was the original prototype for the present day F-16 Fighting Falcon. Among the many features discussed were the highly effective speed brakes. As we walked out of the meeting, one of our Air Force test pilots commented, "Funny, I don't remember ever deploying speed brakes in a dogfight."

Art, add me to your list for email ([email protected]) I would like for RCU to tell us if we will ever be able to post pictures again. If not I'm out of here.

Turtle Report:
One wing covered and safely stored. The other top wing panel half done. Just a side note here.......it is time consuming covering any wing if you want to do it right, but this larger size is a very tedious and time consuming. The panel seems to grow even bigger as the covering goes on.

I started a 1/3 scale Peashooter. Kind of stopped building now because of yardwork and getting planes ready for the flying season. I was thinking of taking the SPAD out this week but now the weather turned to $#*t!

Hey Doc -- I hear ya! Did I hear you say you would spring for my lifetime membership with RCSB? I'm already a site supporter........I do a lot of lurking but don't say much.
I can't determine if it is my internet service or this site. But it's getting just about time to move. It's a quandary for me because RCSB is kind of formal and doesn't allow much off topic stuff and here at RCU I can let my hair down and goof off and all you fellers can kibitz about nearly anything that you want to yak about on my thread.
Hey, how about flying at the Mint Julep? It is the weekend after Mother's Day and it's located at Rough River, Ky. You can meet some of the scale crowd and have some fun flying too.
Cheers,
Art

I have thought about the Mint Julep but this year it's just not on the schedule sorry. I'd really like to and I used to practice a SM routine. I'm a member of NASA too but this year it wont happen. Life membership..... I think you mis understood lol Hey there's lots of off the cuff babble that goes on amongst some of us crazies there, not to worry.
