Drew the registration precisely using DraftSight and used this to determine the precise location of the disc hidden in the 'N'.
Also started spray painting the upper wings (just starboard today).

Made the final two lithoplate pieces for the port wing today. My five year old son helped me
Also note how the Passing Light cover has been replaced by an improved version. I hadn't initially noticed that it was supposed to have rounded corners. Shame on me! But the mistake has been rectified

Finished painting the port wing. The result is reasonable for a first attempt, but I will need to touch up a couple of spots where the tape appears to have come loose.

And the other wing is painted. A few paint corrections to make however. The overall result is alright.
I drew the registration in DraftSight and used this to create a mask for the paint.

Been working on the engine cowling. Made louvres in lithoplate and am currently working on panel lines. As you can see there are some improvements to be made to the surface finish.

The panel lines have been added and the surface finish improved. This is the result, after a few coats of paint.
Next up is the green and orange trim.
