1/16 Tamiya Leopard 1A4 mod to 1A3
Here are some photos of the Leo that I just completed. It is the recently released static kit that I installed Tamiya Panther gearboxes & Tamiya electronic's and built a speaker box from sheet styrene..
I did the modifications to the turret to back date it from an 1A4 to an 1A3 that was one of the Leo 1's that were repainted in Nato 3-color camo scheme. The turret mods consisted of the older commanders periscope, the forward periscope, and mod behind the loaders hatch. Painted & lightly weathered to represent a recenty repainted tank. Paint & weathering was airbrushed with Tamiya paints.
