You can get these pretty cheap on ebay. I have one and they work pretty good. They also have ones with IR lights for low/no light, but I don;t think they have audio on the IR/Low light cameras.

I use a Turnigy 9x radio for additional channels to control this pan and tilt camera (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...5FNTSC%5F.html) from HobbyKing with the FatShark 5.8Ghz goggles. The pan and tilt is controlled by the HOV Pitch and HOV Throttle controls on channels 7 and 8 (until I can get the headtracker module I purchased synchronized). The view in the goggles is amazing as you actually control the tank from the tank.

RE: Looking for a Tank Camera
I have been making tank mounted camera videos for several years now and it is a blast to do and watch.
I've even battled using only the video cameras view. Seen here: http://www.youtube.com/user/thecomma.../2/ivDNOPrNXUE
The wiresless video units are fun and small but the quality is just not there. Is is grainy and vulnerable to RF interference.
luckily tecnology has come very far recently and I've been uning mini HD digital video units for some high quality battle recording. The Mini spy cams and bullet cams are very nice too. They allow me to have a live feed in real time back to a at (w/ DVD recorder). I can also mount a mini monitor attached to the top of my Xmitter. I favor the commander's perspective. What do you want your camera to do? Here is a nice HD video from my Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/thecomma.../5/xfWxeNcBeI8

RE: Looking for a Tank Camera
Yea, Im looking for something like that. Hoobens mini reciever is $120 and then the transmitter (actual cam is $93) Kinda more expensive then what I'm looking for. But that idea is what i want. Live feed so I can be sitting in my room and take the tank somewhere else and not run into anything.

RE: Looking for a Tank Camera
I bought a FPV setup from hobbyking sometime ago.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...mera_NTSC.html
I tested it, it's pretty good for the price. But I have not done much with it.
And from my understanding, 900MHZ is better than 2.4GH for obstacles and it doesn't interfere with people who uses 2.4GH tx-rx.
They have the 1500mw one too, but I figured that would be over doing it

RE: Looking for a Tank Camera
I tried this thought it would be fun but in reality it don't work to good you can't see were you are driving good enough it's not like you are in the tank at all nothing like real at all.
I wasted about $100.00 to try this with a camera and a 7 inch tv to me was just money wasted you will try it a few times and find yourself never to use it again.
Just my input after trying a camera system,,,one who quickly got board of it.

RE: Looking for a Tank Camera
I would like a live feed set up too. I want to be able to drive and watch from the commanders perspective.
I would like to do this with a small moniter mounted on my Tx.
Do you know of what equipment I would N.E.A.D.for that Bob?

Oh,
One of my dreams was to make a RC bomber with camera so you could conduct long-rage tactical strikes! DEATH FROM THE SKIES.
Haven't done it yet
