Modellspiegel and HennTec at Etoarmour
eto is pleased to announce that we will be carrying the Modellspiegel line of heavy duty transmissions. Our first shipments have arrived last week and are on sight.

I have a set here and am experimenting with them. So far I have found nothing that can either stop them or damage them, including churning through deep mud...our mud in Krim that is roughly like concrete. All systems I have are the 'off road' system at 50:1 reduction for scale speeds.
The systems are a drop in bolt in system and include all the needed hardware to install them. They are a little longer than the stock systems and may require some rearrangement of electronics etc, but everything fits.
We will also have in stock in about 2 weeks the first order of Henntec idler systems. We will have the systems for Tamiya Tiger 1, KT, and Panther/Jagdpanther. For Heng Long we will have the Tiger 1 and King Tiger systems.
For WSN we will have the T 34 system.

If you mean HennTec, yes, I will have HennTec idlers for HL and WSN. Of course they are different from the Tamiya systems but the principle is the same. The transmissions are basically the same for any tank, just the mounts and final drive extensions are different.

Hello,
I am very proud that I may work together with Robert.
I try in addition to the standard armor, for all other tanks to build a chain tensioner.
If you have questions or suggestions, you feel free to inform me or the Robert.
Right now I'm building a system for the Tamiya Leopard 1
Yesterday I got a delivery from electroplating, I think am able to deliver soon.
Regards,Guido

if your going that far spend the extra and get that Tiger 1 from Aero Mate. This box seems like it was made for that beast. I don't know how anybody else feels but that Aero Mate, this gear box.... heck you could weld a lawn chair on top and drive the tank to work

I read a few reviews on the HENNTec idler system, seems very cool. Id like to know a little bit more... do the idler attach arms extend far into the axle?
I have the asiatam tiger hull (2.0), it's awesome but the weak spot are the idler adjusters. Even when installed properly & set screws tight, the idler arms still wobble back and forth. If the idler arms extend into the axle then no more wobble!
Before today & reading this thread again I had no idea the HENNTec system existed.. so far I like it!
Edited a picture to show what I mean.

A drop-in geaarbox unit for the t-34 is needed!
Any other improvement (metal idlers, suspensions, track tensioner, tracks) is secondary.

I had henntec's installed on my M41 beforeI sold it and was very impressed with them......The only thing I didn't like is that the Metal idler wheelsthat came with the set had shafts that wouldn't stay set in the wheel which caused a bit of wobbling after a while which required removing/disassembling the idler wheels and resetting the shafts with ablock and hammer....I'd figure there might be the same issue if there is a kit for the M26....
