Preps at Danville for March H*E*A*T Battleday!
Five of us met Saturday at the indoor RC battlefield in Danville to fix it up for the battleday in two weeks. Randy, Doug, Dave, Chris and I replanted trees and moved several features around. Tankers should enjoy the different terrain when they join us for combat on MARCH 22, 23, 24. Some pictures below.

The museum is very fortunate to have volunteers such as you guys there Dana.
That, and a JS-2 doesn't hurt either. Congrats on the purchase!

The field is in great shape and I am looking forward to the battleday in 2 weeks.

Congratulations on the New Tank Dana are you going to do a build thread?
Danville has got to be the IT place to be and to go to i can't wait to go one day keep the pics coming, don't forget the battle videos

Is that a new bridge and depression in the middle?
I can come down a day before the 22nd battle and do someprep if you'd like. My 2 sons would also be able to lend a hand.

I think the field is pretty much ready for this battle weekend.
But, I am sure it will need some work before the next one in May.
It is always helpful to have a walk around on Sunday as things wind down, and fix a few minor things like downed trees.
I think the bridge in the middle was installed last summer.

It is MG Neal Creighton! He stopped by the museum and donated his Tanker Jacket, Hat and several of his plaques!
