Default Taigen replys to your questions

<span style="font-size: larger;">Well, we have been busy here at BBT. With moving the store and getting new idems in every day, its been a mad house here. I had a chance to send a list of Questions to Tagien, so I ask some of you what you would like to ask them, and here is what I got back:</span><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Who is Taigen? This info helps customers know you better and increase sales.

Taigen:</span><span style="font-size: larger;">We are made up of 2 people from China on one person from Germany.</span><span style="font-size: 12px;"> (this is all that they would expand on.)
<o></o></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">"A lot of accusations are made that Taigen reboxes Asaitam components, is this true? explain yes or no."</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: No, We work with them.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Are you part of Heng Long? </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: No, we however, are buying components from them till we retool our molds. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Improvements:</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Sound card: Improve sound card with sound of the actual tank that it is in. ie, Tiger sound like tiger. M26 sounds like M26. if not just remove the "rachet" sound when tank moves. This is the #1 complaint!</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: We are working on this now and hope to have some more info on this soon. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">All tanks need the latch release opening upper hull (no screws). </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: All our tanks will come this way, The next tank will come with this is the M-41 Bulldog.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></o></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">There is a bid demand for WW2 BRTISH TANKS!</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: Next year!</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Expand into Modern AFV, Tanks and APC.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: That Will happen this year with the M1A1 Abams.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Make your I/R system compatible with Tamya battle system. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: We are working on this and hope to have something next year, we have to be carful with TM's</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Offer all of your tanks as kits. There are many consumers that perfer to completely build/customize their projects.
A complete line of retail packaged parts would be helpful as well.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: Our frist kit will be the Tiger I, with more to follow. If you need Parts for any tank, Contact any Taigen dealer for any parts you need</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Move all "on, off switches" to hatches on the upper hull. All hatches should work.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: If it is possible, we will do it.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Please stop painting the commander figures. it is a waste of time.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: .........</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">All WW2 tanks should have 3:1 gear box. Modern Tanks should have 4:1. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: Thanks, we will look into that.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Full control of main gun. ie, If I push the stick up, the gun should go up, Stick down, gun goes Down. firing of the gun should be a push button.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Taigen: We will look into it.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;">Include more than just 2 pieces of spare track. Some other questions for things they could do now:

- Can we buy some of these parts to modify existing tanks (ie, those that we already own)?  Things like the latch releases, tank hatches, gear boxes, etc.  If so, how about a shopping list of available parts and prices?

- How about a mid-production Tiger with full metal running gear and torsion bar suspension, metal hull, etc?  Same basic thing as the early and late they already offer, but actually a mid-production.

- Can we get them unpainted (goes with the kit question)?

- Do they plan to get get away from airsoft versions?  (I hope not...so changes like the controller and gun control mentioned earlier are great questions.  And, I'd like to see it available - push up, gun go up - but I'd like to keep my airsoft shooter, too.)

- If they're re-tooling and looking at releasing their own tanks, are they thinking about redoing the M41 Bulldog so that it is in scale?

- Do they make their own add-on parts (hatches, tracks, road wheels, etc)?  Or, do they use AsiaTam's and then assemble and sell them as assembled upgrades?  (goes with the kit question)

- Will they fix the main guns on the US tanks - Bulldog and Pershing?  Both are too short and too fat.

What I'ld like to see are some actual pics and parts breakdowns(what upgrades come with them???????) for their other tanks(sturmgeschutz/Panther/etc.)....I've been wanting one for a while, but I'm not spending a dime till I can actually see some kind of pics/video/review on them and what all they come with(not sure why it is taking Taigen so dam long  do some simple videos of opening a box and going over everything on each tank).... The "glamour shots" you see on all these different sites are nice but I want to see  new "out of the box" pics...(I mean really, does a Big Mac you get look as good as the pic in a magazine?).....

How about a compact, recoiling airsoft gun?

Re the M41, yes, correct width tracks &amp; sprockets would be nice,
Correct width turret, with empty vision blocks &amp; clear parts sprue?
Correct drivers periscopes &amp; clear parts sprue.

Those are the biggies, but as mentioned above there is a lot of other stuff to do too.

Hi. Click on the Taigen ad that often comes up at the top of our first page, then click on "Parts". There are three pages of parts listed for Tigers including gears, some metal parts and the all important buckets that hang onthe back of almost every German tank. They do listprices which are, for the most part, reasonable. jot

Can't believe I forgot to mention fixing the suspension on the M41 and the M26!  or the other stuff on those.

Desire for parts lists goes well beyond the Tiger.

Agree with the photos.  That has held me back from seriously considering a Taigen.
