Default M1A2 Abrams From Hooben?

I got this in an e-mail this morning. Anyone else see this? They listed the Hooben M1A2 Abrams as available?

http://www.twin-horse.com/index.php?...art&Itemid=142

Had the Leopard 2 A4 listed as well.

From the looks of it, I think Twin-Horse is the US distributor for Ark Models. Has anyone ordered off this website in the past?

I ordered an Elefant from them. Communication was good and I received the kit in two weeks. The only reason it took that long was because it came from Hong kong. If they have the kits in stock here in the States it shouldn't take as long.

I admit this is really tempting! But I think I'll wait for the HL release, which should be at least $100 cheaper and has better parts support. :P

I have asked for more details. I want the 2A4.

Also being sold as Almost RTR. IS this a new angle to marketing that Hobben is looking at. Very curious. I have asked for a Shipping price and pictures of the boxed unit. If I get those I will bite.

Canada rebuilt a bunch of 2 A4 and these look like a good platform to start. Just need some after Market Resin cast armor adds.

I got a reply. They do not have any in stock. They offered to let me know when they do.

I sent an email asking for the Leopard 2A4 and they told me "NO stock", maybe in the future.

“No Stock” no surprise really, this is the usual tactic from Hooben there advertising policy is their own worst enemy, I would hazard a guess that we won’t see either Leopard or abrams before the end of 2015, shame as the Leopard looks very interesting and could be a worthwhile purchase

@Agustus1967, aka, gus, If you mean the Elefant, the fit of the plastic parts is good, but like all models may need some clean up. The running gear is where the work will be. I have not had a chance to test fit the parts to see if this is a newer kit or first production kit. That said the first production kits had fit issues with the running gear which required some test fitting and sanding to get them right. Some on this site even replaced the running gear with the Asitam metal replacement parts. I will try the plastic parts first and at some point move to metal tracks and road wheels.

That bites!!!! Why show stock available on your website if you do not have stock???!!! Disappointing to say the least.

That's Exactly what I was looking for...
