Default Clark tk 22 please help

I just installed my new board in my tank. All plugs are in the right spot. Now I'm trying to figure out WTH these diagrams are supposed to mean. I've watched all videos I can find and still can't figure it out. I have no sound, no turning, no elevation, no shooting. I'm about to sell or burn this damn tank.

Are you using it in an IR or airsoft tank? Do you have a programming device and the Sony remote?

I have air soft. I didn't know I needed a remote when I bought this thing so I don't have the ir receiver. That will be ordered soon. i thought I'd at least be able to test out functions without programming. I was assuming that programming was just for basic stuff like sound delays etc.

Did you buy the board new or from someone used?

Clark boards are set for Tamiya IR out of the box, and you have to have an IR receiver and LED to program, along with the remote. I made my own programming receiver with an apple and an LED but you can also buy them. I think they call them "programming cables". You can change to airsoft with just about any sony remote, but you have to have that programming cable. You'll also have to do some re-wiring in the turret to get it working properly. What kind of tank is it? With the sherman there's a shortcut in the wiring, but most other tanks are the same.

Everything else works except for the turret? You have the 5 wire plugged in on the wrong side...

Thanks for the help guys! Got it working, all functions happen via correct commands. I just need to get the IR cable so I can program it to airsoft now.

Does anyone know of an American based company where I can buy the cable? Takes a very long time to come from U.K. or Australia.

thanks again for the help

Dusty called it. Give Nathan a shout at RC tanks of OKC and he'll hook you up.
