Any airsoft people left?
Just curious, haven't been around for a while. Don't see many threads about it as I did about 5 years ago.
Anyone still plinking or is it all TV remote controllers now?

Being a fairly new single tank owner I mostly use my tank to chase squirrels away from the bird feeders in the back yard; lots of fun. Airsoft is the only way to go for me.

Good to hear guys. Feeling the itch to pull the tanks out of dry dock now that the weather is getting better. I've been 3D printing the heck out of everything so I might design a new gun. Never had that possibility back when I was building them. Recoil sounds really interesting and is something I always lacked. Anyone have any good vids or pics inside the turrets?

Agreed - I have the most fun with airsoft. IR tanks mostly sit on shelf. Love taking the tanks into the woods with a few cans and roaming about. I have a Taigen T34 Airsoft at work which I pull out once a week to mess with my co-workers and students - everyone gets a kick out of it.

I still keep mine airsoft. I just shoot at everything except other tanks so that I don't knock off the details.
A better gun would be awesome! Taigen has made some improvements, but still room for improvement in their reliability and consistency.

All my tanks are Heng Long, and all they sell anymore are airsoft tanks.
They are not as fun as I envisioned them being before I got into this. I had originally envisioned tank battles but they are so powerful they blow pieces off the tanks!

I agree with you Perry about the lack of advancement in "Airsoft" Tanks,
Heng Long stopped making "IR" Tanks some years ago and only sell "Airsoft" but they always advertise their products as TOYS.
It is bad for sales if a toy Tank blows lumps off of Children which might explain the relative lack of velocity emanating from a Tiger 1 Barrel,
Heng Long and indeed all the other well known brands sell world wide and many countries have very restrictive laws governing "Shooting",
Indeed the UKs restriction on muzzle velocity of all "Air Weapons"might explain the popularity of "Cricket" where you can lawfully throw a ball in excess of 100 mph.
