I agree with you. I just started with the tanks, and I wish I could have done it sooner. I collected 1/1250 scale model ww2 warships. Couldn't do anything with them except look at them.
At 75, I'm collecting tanks. Who would have thought.
I only paint them, and dirty them, but when it comes to the electronics, I'm lost.

I'm trying to form a club in suffolk county ny. I have a few guys willing to join, but we no idea what to do to start up.
Anybody have any ideas, they are more then welcome to express them.

Your right, I'm sorry. Old man got carried away.
H.l. Had a bad reputation. I received a sturm. 3, and the socket wheel came off. One of my tiger 1's came with a broken hatch, and a missing rear mud flap. Thank God, none came with an electrical problem.
Mato's mr. Murphy, seem's to be the customer service so far. I ordered a couple of tanks from Nathan in okla. he's building them, so I'm waiting.
Don't know if I'll have any problems. I hope not.
Taigen tanks are built like the hl's, but have better quality control. I have taigen's, and I was able to see and test them at the dealer. (1, king tiger, 1 , tiger 1, 1 rv-1). They run great, even on the rug. The muzzle velocity is better with taigen. They tell you not to run them outside.

The NEAD group meets in the Mahwah, NJ area, about 1.5 hours from you. It might be worth it to drop in on a battleday.

Thank you, but there is a problem. I go to dyalisis 3 times a week. It's hard for me to travel. It's a good idea tough. I will suggest it to my friends.

The thread really shouldn't be used for other unrelated discussions either, because then, even more unsuspecting members will be duped into believing this is a current complaint & possibly post too.
Please let this thread die again, there is no sense posting in a thread that has an original complaint from that long ago, which by the way, the harsh criticism was retracted by the same poster later on if anyone bothered to actually read through the entire thread.
Do we really have to keep seeing a thread that has been inactive since 2006, with a title saying, "Mato Pershing Tank .... IT SUCKS!!!!" in it, at the top of the forum threads in 2013?

Ok, seems that members can't get the message even though it's been posted several times. After this thread was reactivated the discussion has nothing to do with the original topic. If you want to discuss an issue simply start a new thread, but don't hijack an old thread.
Since the thread went almost 5 years with no activity, I would say that it's safe to say this thread has ran it's course. And since people want to talk off topic here I'm going to put an end to it.
