That pioneer rack is a masterpiece! Instead of sticking it on the tank you could put a ring on it with a 24k gold chain and wear it! Perfect gift for the Mrs! [:-]

RE: bulldog
now the front end is complete made a start on detailing the turret
first to go are the nasty plastic grab handles
next was to re-site the MG placement
then for the tricky fiddly bit the four holes are for the smaller tie-downs (not sure if I'm gonna regret this bit[][]) and are 0.3mm dia[X(][X(]

I drove past Waiouru army museum today so stopped and took some pictures of the stripped out NZ Bulldog that sits outside. And yes that is snow on the ground, and yes the sun went in and the wind started to howl as soon as I climbed up onto it....

Here are some photos that Malcolm Thomas sent me (see his new book on NZ armour "Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps Kiwi Armour 6" ISBN: 9780958235044 - covers 1960 to present day, Bulldog, Scorpion plus armoured cars etc.) showing the MRDEC camouflaged Bulldog on manoeuvres.

RE: bulldog
Rob that is really nice work, and you are definately sparking some ideas! I can see you making almost the whole tank out of brass..[sm=75_75.gif][sm=idea.gif][sm=shades_smile.gif]
You and the British Bulldog will have to team up or is this tank just for show!?
