Well I put in an order for FPV with a head set. just to ramp up the chick magnet factor. I found the tanks were not enough, so this will do it for sure!.

What type of FPV gear?
I started looking at different options this week and reading up on how other tankers have installed their systems.
I've always believed that whoever can bring to market an integrated FPV built into a IR battle/detection system where tanks can actually battle through the systems, this niche hobby would explode (look at RC helicopters and how that expensive/niche hobby took off).

While not tank related, I'm getting the new 1/200 scale Bismark from Trumpeter. It measures out to almost 50 inches in length, so it'll be fun to RC it.

I just ordered a flysky transmitter, 2 gens ace batteries, and an extra receiver tonight from hobbypartz. Won't get it by Christmas but I guess its a present to myself.

This year it has been a surprise...

Santa or our GrandFatherFrost sent to me a present much earlier as I was expecting...

Well I got My Fat Shark FPV Glasses and camera. As I have the T-34 on the bench getting rebuilt, I guess it will be the first tank to try this on.

Hmmm, RC related? I kept things simple for me because I DID have to purchase a new PC last month, so my wife remembered I needed a new battery powered 4.8V DREMEL 7300 and I needed a small powered screw driver so she got me the Black & Decker Smart Driver with the Lithium battery. Plus some clothes.

Some awesome tools for my demanding projects.

Oh and today I have measured out the foliage loops on my Tamiya Panther and drilled out ALL the holes. WHEW!! Nothing like ruining a part on an expensive kit but it turned out PERFECT as I used the DML kit to measure from and a set of calipers so all that's left is to cement them in, since I already made all the loops. :D

That is what has stalled my Panther build, all these months. [:o]

We had and inch of snow overnight here in NJ. A nice white Christmas for the early birds. Most vaporized by noon. I know Old Forge got a bunch and my buddies in Lake George are getting some now and more later in the week. I'm heading south on Thursday to Danville. I may stop and see soem friends or family on the way...I haven't decided yet. I can't wait to get the sleds out on the snow. We are ready to rip it up. The SkiDoo Legend 700 does 115 MPH.
