Does anyone know it the 1/5 kits are will be available in future? I see E got a 1/4 kit, just 5K is to far out of my price range. I think I'd die if I crashed it.
Yes the 1/5 kit is still available
I shall get one during December

I just asked this same question to Evan Quiros here in the USA.. I consider him to be one of the best builders out there!

He said his CG was per the book. I will fly mine the same.

What is your weight so far? The wing on this bird with the retracts is so heavy. I still hear they fly nice.

Here is mine... I built up by rudder and elevators to save weight. I still need to add all the gear and then ballast... hope she is under 30 lbs.

Thanks Chris!!!

I looked a long time to pick one..... I found this on a warbird site. I have not been able to find an actual photo of an actual plane with the red and yellow on the nose... only the tail.

"This striking bird, Fw 190 A-8 Yellow 4 Chevron, beautifully showcases the Luftwaffe’s practice of recycling airframe parts. An older fuselage assembly appears to have been grafted onto a new tail unit. It also displays remarkable and unusual red & yellow stripes on the cowling that match the JG 301 RV bands on the rear fuselage. As with our other Advance Research Series decal sets, this one includes really superb quality photos of the plane." I found this explanation on a Decal site.

Anyone know if the saito fg84 will fit inside the cowling? I Saw this video on youtube and was wondering if it really will go inn without modifying the cowl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUEA...e_gdata_player

I tried to fit a Saito 450 in mine and it was too big. I think the FG 84 is as large or larger. So I would say NO. it won't fit.

Bob,

He is referring to the gent in the video. If you look really closely you can see the cheek bulges on the cowl have been cut off. Perhaps for the spark plug boots? Anyways he's had to do some modifications.

Even Q. modified his SisT cowl to accept a G-62. He enlarged the cowl cheeks on both sides. One side hid the spark plug cap and the other side was made so it was the same size. I'm sure you could do something similar for the FG84 but its a cowl mod.

Small heads up, the SiSt (Stefan Sigmund) is not producing the Kits anymore.
The molds have however been bought by a very capable guy called Dieter Karrer. He will be going online with production soon.

Ramstein44, Vogelsang is the importer. The producer always was SiSt. But Dieter is working on putting up a production and I am sure Vogelsang will stay distributor.

Rev does that include all of SiSt's kits and parts? (1/4 scale 190)
Will he retain the name or change it?

Just a quick note.....for anyone looking for engine choices. The Ridge Machine D & B 3.7 twin fits perfectly within the cowling, mounted carburetor on the top side. Spark plugs and caps fit into the cowling bulges, no cowling cuts required! Just started flying mine in this configuration and VERY pleased with it.
