I forgot to mention, You can see I put tanks on the one photo on the belly, I wish I had a better shot, Corsairs look awesome with belly tanks. I really had to work on getting that together, I used earth magnets to hang them for show,
Getting the pylon angle was a mess, Not a angle guy, But if you choose to do that you can order them from Horizon for there large corsair
Keep Gluing

Guys , I'm back. sorry i've been away for so long but back issues and summer chores have kept me from my corsair. Well ,it's back on the bench and i got my guns installed . not much left to do other that get it painted .as so of you may know .. i had her up for sale a couple of times during the summer as i didn't think i was going to be able to finish it. i couldn't get what i had in ti so i decide to keep her. here's some pics of the guns . i'm not sure yet if i'm going to do the panel line thing . i'll decide that once i get my paint booth put together. The reinforcement labels where for alignment only then i used some plastic tubing from the train section of the hobby shop.

Under the tanks as in mounted to F3? I started making a mount to place it per the drawings, but might move it to be able to access the needle valves for retract speed a little easier, thanks for your reply.

well , i built the sealed paint booth. just have to install the ventilation fan and door filter and i'll be ready to finally shoot the bird . booth is rebuildable using 2x2's and 3" drywall screws followed up with 1-2 mil plastic and finally sealed with duct tape on the floor and seams. i used this about two years ago for my at-6

well , i put my first light coat on today. i think " because of a lot of static" i attracted every piece of lint from the surrounding three counties . i'm going to wet sand it out tomorrow and do another coat. we have a very low humidity level in my shop because of our wood stove down here. it's like 16% and the fact that i used everyday paper towels to wipe it down didn't help. so i think i'll wet the floor down real good before i shoot again. i did notice that as i was wiping down the fuse , i could feel the static on my arms. the cowl pic shows how bad the static was as the cowl had paint stuck to it without me even spraying it. it picked the paint up that was in the air. any anti-static tricks that might help? Good to see more on this!
Have you tried tack rags? Just Any good body supply house will have them. Great from wiping down, even between coats once tacked over...wetting floor will help a lot

70 , yea i do have yack rags but the static is so bad . anything that could be drawn , was. so i'm going to soak the floor awhile before i shoot again. it's funny .. the more you try to do a good jog , the more that works against you lol i should have just blown the paint on outside last summer Gezzz...

Connect a ground cable to the plane and use a anti static tack cloth (see link).
Wet the floor then let it dry (not just in the booth but also surrounding area).
Have you filtered your inlet source to the enclosure?
Use a gravity feed gun and keep your pressure on the low side (stops kicking dust up).
