I havent posted anything lately on the 1/4 TA-152, mostly bc there is nothing to say.. But yesterday i got a deposit from a customer, so all the materials are on order for the plugs. I expect to get started on the plugs as soon as the stuff arrives (probably the end of the month as its a large balsa order) and i move some F14 stuff into the trailer to make room on the other table to build the wings and fuse. Keep an eye out for the build thread!

Hey Ram, which gear ratio did you get for that Fergelli linear servo, that you are using for the canopy? They have 3 speeds. Also, if you have servo speed in your TX, can you speed up or slow down the speed to suit your scale needs? I have servo speed in my TX and use it for flaps. Pretty slick. Planning on ordering one of those actuators soon. Just trying to figure out which one I want.

for the canopy, i would get the fast one. Servo speed can be adjusted in the TX if you get the direct plug in RC version.

Scale Axis Warbird friends, I have to share this;
The other day I had a wonderful flight with my Sist Fw 190 D9. Together with my friends Ta 152 C.
Why was it so wonderful?
Because I have been struggling for years to get an engine strong enough to fly the D9. And the reason for that was that I had mufflers that "stole" 1000 rpm.
But no more of that.
Next is that it flew together with a most rare warbird. A Dave Platt Focke Wulf converted to the Ta 152 C.
Seeing both these warbirds together up in the air, is what created a fantastic day for me. And I need to share it.
Here it is, I hope you enjoy it too!

Well, I got the Fergelli actuator, most of my TA 152 piled on the bench, and the most awesome TA 152 plastic model ever! This thing has tons of detail, and is probably the best plastic kit I have ever owned. Just so happens, it will be very helpful for the completion of my build.

Nice man! Ive been looking for one of those kits and the book to go with it. If work would ever give me a break, i could get these V-173's done and get started on my 152
