Default P47 Razorback scale drawings

Hi guys, I'm building the Topflite Giant P47 and want to finish it with rivets and panel lines etc. does anyone know where I might be able to download reasonably accurate drawings of the P47 Razorback or at least sources of where I might be able to purchase the info. Cheers

Depending on how accurate the drawings need to be tread carefully.

I have seen this drawing before, the most obvious fault is the windscreen shape in the plan view.

Let me know if you need another drawing. - John.

Thanks John, the drawings look to be certainly good enough for my semi scale Bolt so I can jazz it up for my own self gratification. Cheers DaveDave

Good luck with the build, you will love this model
when you get it finished. I have the smaller version
& it's a great flyer, the big one will be even better!

I wonder if the misspelled words in some of the stencils accurately represent the level of literacy of that period.

I like to build plastic models first. It gives you a 3-D view and practice a color scheme. I have done this for a Zero, Mustang and now a Jug.

Hi guys,

I agree with EDP, and always build at least one plastic scale model of the subject to check on detail and to get an impression of what it should look like when put together... Heres views of the cockpit tub of my Tamiya 1/48 cockpit before I started on the scale cockpit for my Topflite Giant Scale version....

I used the plastic model for the panel lines. I cut silver Ultracote and sanded different grains to it. I cut access panels on my vinyl cutter. This is s Ziroli 72" I finished for a friend. It was a real hatchet job he paid for from a "professional" builder
