Tony, what engine is in your plane and what prop size and from where and what rpm does it turn. My plane is about the same weight or maybe a bit more and I'm second guessing which prop to buy. Your project turned out superb. Have you put it in the air?

This is the Fuel system of a typical P-47 but it does not show where the filler caps are but in another Illustration I found the filler cap for the main tank would be Just above and foward of #2 the fuel Level Gauge on the right rear of the main tank.
What I find Fascinating is that this configuration was capable of carrying 990 Gallons of fuel

Any one interested in the P-47 should avail them selves of the History of the P-47 in Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_P-47_Thunderbolt.

I found a picture of a guy filling one. Standing on right wing. Opened a door maybe 30° from center of fuselage and about 3 feet forward of the canopy. I need some engine/prop size and brand and rpm of Tony Builders plane. Can't wait to find out. I have a dle 55ra with raised compression and widened exhaust port going thru a modified stock muffler. I have exhaust tubes pointing rearward so exhaust goes out turbo wastegate location. I'd like to run a 4 blade too.

Its on my work computer. I only have my cell phone and everything looks different. I pushed the wrong tab and now it said I removed myself from the thread. I wished rcu computer nerds would leave settings alone. I don't know how to upload on the screen I get on my phone. It's a joke I gotta keep jacking around to do a simple thing . may not get any more postings from now on.

Nice work, she looks great. The flite Metal is a pain in the arss, but it's worth it for the finished product...............Here's mine with the flite metal.
