Default Eagle Model Aircraft Company P-47N Thunderbolt

I recently picked up this kit for a P-47N Thunderbolt made by the Eagle Model Aircraft Company. Is anybody familiar with this particular kit? It appears to be vintage based on the printwood, and I'm guessing it dates from the 1950s or 1960s. I'd appreciate anything that you could share about its flying characteristics , or how it is to build. The kit looks pristine, as if it had never even been touched. The box itself looks to be in good shape too.

It looks like being a control line model.
