RCM Plans ?
I ordered a set of plans from RCM about 2 weeks ago and emailed them no answer. I know that RCM is no more. Their web says they still sell plans. Anyone knows whats up? Thanks Rich

RE: RCM Plans ?
I put in an order and it took almost 7 weeks!
I remember calling numerous times, only to be passed between 3 people.
You'll read other threads here about the RCM Plans Service. They have a very well known reputation of being very very very very s-l-o-w.
Quality of service does not seem to be one of their priorities.

Ordering plans from a magazine that's out of business? I think it's pretty good customer service that they support the plans side of the business at all!
My guess is at this point they do a run of all the orders once a month or when they have enough make it worth while.
I've been ordering all the plans I even think I might want to build in the future...when their gone their gone...

RE: RCM Plans ?
Tweety,
Keep on trying to contact them. I ordered 9 sets of plans on January 12th and recieved them last week after 2 phone conversations with them. I waited a month before I made my first call and they said they were sent out priority mail and they must have gotten lost.
She then said she would send them out 2nd day UPS at no charge. I waited another week and still no plans so I called again. This time she told me the computers were down but she would send them out that night again 2nd day UPS. I did get them in 2 days after that call. It took alot of calls per day before someone answered and the only way I got ahold of someone was on the local number and not the 800 number.
I do agree with what meaden said and I will order plans from them again as long as Im not in a hurry to start building.

RE: RCM Plans ?
I have not been able to contact them even on their local line I don't think they spend much if any time in the office. The last time I ordered plans I called after not receiving the plans after three weeks they told me they were having problems with the blueprint machine but had sent them out I still did not receive them for several more weeks and they told me they would send out new sets I received these in about a week then a week after that I received a duplicate set that were unusable because they had been wadded up and stuffed into the mail tube like crumpeled newspaper. I think it would be best for them to sell the collection to AMA there can't be any money in this for them or they would provide a better service and not make up stories to their customers.

P.S. If anybody is fortuneate enough to contact them by Phone please ask the about my order also
Thanks
