RE: SHOW YOUR DETAILED ARF WARBIRDS
I used to think ARF's will hurt the true building and craftmanship of this hobby. But now there are more beautiful planes out there than ever. Here are my winter and summer completed projects this year. The P51 is a TF ARC, glassed with silk, and painted, powered by Husqvarna 4.4 . The AT6 is 82" Nitromodels ARF. Added panel lines, weathering. Powered by Poulan 42. Keep em' coming! Paul

Electric Sky Shark ARF, P-40, 84"wing, 25 friggen pounds but flew GREAT!. Just got home from the field after the maiden, when my friend sends over the You Tube clips of it I'll stick them up on this page. I used a AXI 5345 motor on 12 cells swinging a 22/12 prop. They are 8000 mah packs and flew it for more then 7 mins for the first flight. Second flight was about 8 mins with plenty of power to go. It will be able to fly about 10 mins,if I can stand the stress. No, really flew nice, lands with flaps great. Sierra Giant Scale retracts hold it up off the ground and Darrells retracts look as good as they work!

RE: SHOW YOUR DETAILED ARF WARBIRDS
This is the begining of my P-51 B conversion. It started life as a P-51 Strega from Will Hobbies. I had the plane and a P-51B conversion from Top Flite so I mergered them together. It wasn't a very easy job, the Strega was thinner and not as tall as the Top Flite version so I had to build up the air frame to fit. A ST 90 and Futaba 9 ch will provide plenty of power. The Puple and yellow version is what it began life as.

I think on the Corsair, the hinge line on the ailerons is taperd top and bottom with the hinge on the centerline. That is the way most ARF's come out of the box.
Just an amazing plane!

Rchotog & Scale dail,
Thanks for the kind words fellas and your concern Rchotog. The ailerons are fine, they have a double taper from the manufacturer and I decided not to alter them. I appreciate the heads-up though.

Can't say that I added a whole lot of detail but I did glass the flying surfaces and add the panel lines to my Thunder Tiger Sea Fury, as well as give it a new paint job. Just needs a clear coat and I can put it back together and go fly.

Here is my Easy Tiger TBM Avenger. The paint job was horrible on mine, so I decided to make it a sub-hunter. G-38, Century Jet retracts, and JR "stuff" inside.
