most people start a new thread instead of using the old ones or the official one

I read the review on RCU about the Shockwave. It said you can get one for $99. Is that true? Where is the cheapest place to order one with or without a coupon code? I currently have Gasoline and Electric models but I am not to familiar with Nitros. If I cannot get the Red Cat for $99 I will likely just go with the CEN 1/16 Nitro MT or look into Smart Tech Nitros to get my start. Anyone have any suggestions or links and prices as to which one will give me less problems? Seems wearing out gears is common.

the shockwave was $99 but the price went up to $139 a month or so ago, its a great deal still, you may be able to find one cheaper if you look around.

If there is compression when you turn it at the flywheel its probably a dirty one way bearing [&o]

is the cord really easy to pull? your oneway bearing may be bad.

take the one way bearing off, clean it with some carb cleaner and put it back, maybe scuff up the shaft with some steel wool.

could be because the rpms werent high enough or you may need to adjust the shifter, if the engine was tuned good and you were able to get high rpm's then you probably need to adjust the shifter.

hey i havent been on this website in along time at least in this thread area about my cyclone car, but i bought a cyclone buggy off of ebay and i have taken it into a local rc track and was having it tuned and the guy that was doing the tuning needed a carb o-ring for it and a i think it was a throttle needle o-ring for it and he wasnt having any luck in locating one so i was woundering if anyone on here knew of a website that i can go to so i can order the parts he needs to finish fixing it, if i posted this in the wrong area please tell me where i can go to post it in the correct area thanks
