Default pull cord/starter cord

my friend asked me to post this cause last time it worked. He said the cord when he tried to start the rc,it felt like it was caught up on something. So he left it alone but he was wonderin, why it was so hard to pull?

if it is flooded it will be very hard to pull, you have to take the plug out, turn it over, put a paper towel down and pull the starter with the car upside down, you will see all the fuel comeing out of the engine, you have to do this a few times, then put the plug back in. it should be much easier to start then.

Sounds like a flooded engine. take the glow plug out and see if it is easyer to pull. if it is its just a flooded engine . turn it over and pull the rope to expel the fuel, the put it back in .

Has it ever been started? If not some times the pinch can be so tight it feels like it's bound up, I ussually put about 3 drops of 3 in one oil or after run oil in the glow plug hole before I start a new engine so there's some lube to make it easier to pull and so it doesn't scratch the cylinder. Anyway, if it's been started it sounds like everyone said a flooded engine. Also take the pull start off and see if you can pull it vary carefully off the engine. Becarfull not to let it pop apart.
