stick with the break in that comes with the car, easy to do, just make sure you put the piston on the bottom of the engine when you let it cool between tanks and use after run oil when your done with it.

RE: Break In procedures
My method:
Tank 1: Idle, then drop some after run oil in, and drop the piston to the bottom.
Cooldown
Tank 2: Repeat of step one
Cooldown
Tank 3: 3 second passes at 1/4th throttle, then after run oil, and drop the piston.
Cooldown
Tank 4: Repeat step 3
Cooldown
Tank 5: 3 second passes at 1/2 throttle, oil, then drop the piston
Cooldown
Tank 6: 5 second passes going from no to full throttle, oil, then drop the piston
Cooldown
Tanks 7-12: Easy driving! This is usually when i replace my plug with a nice mccoy plug
After 12 i start leaning out.
At about tank 15 I have it fully tuned, and broken in.
(I'm very carefull when i break stuff in :])

RE: Break In procedures
after run oil is used when the car will be sitting. I guess your local hobby shop loves selling you after run oil as much as you are using lol... Whatever works for ya is good I guess.

RE: Break In procedures
I basically followed the guide on redcat's web-page. Then tore the heck out of it, still running great for me....Oh and still haven't used any after run oil.
