RE: 2-speed question
well if it's shifting late in the high rpms it shouldn't be bogging down. Unless your running waaayyyy to rich on the HSP and it's bogging with fuel.

RE: 2-speed question
when i lean out the engine anymore than it already is it bogs down horribly and does get anywhere NEAR second gear. I dont know what it is but i am sure that its about time foe me to get another motor, this one is killing me.

RE: 2-speed question
I would lock it in first gear by tightening the shift adjuster screw all the way in-then tune the engine-then go back to tuning the 2 speed

Ya might have it leaned out to much. Ya might do like codokas said and lock into first, but then I would reset it back to factory settings on the needle and start tunning over again.

RE: 2-speed question
What is your gearing like? What surface are you running on (grass?) If you're trying to pull a really steep gear with really big tires, it might be too much gear for the engine to pull. Nothing you can do to tune around that, unless you swap tires or clutch bell or run it on pavement.
Edit - duh, a Lightning is an on-road car. Sorry.

RE: 2-speed question
its all good duck.
would locking it into first gear not make it run to high in the RPMs and quickly heat up the engine to fast?
It runs fine but as soon as it gets to second is when it bogs, would i not be better lowering second gear a bit than locking it?
