Agreed Dan. I'm pretty sure I've walked past Dean's office and heard him mumbling quietly, "It puts the lotion on it's skin"...

Just got word that Tetsuo Yamada for YS is flying from Japan for this race. We will also see another Canadian. I guess this makes this innagural event a Inter-National event

Got a call from a friend and felt my response to him should be public so everyone else knows as well. Pay out and prizes as follows:

1st - 4th in each of the 3 classes gets trophies

Gold 1st - YS 115

Gold 2nd - JR 6 channel DMSS TX

Silver 1st - YS115
Silver 2nd - JR 6 channel DMSS TX

Bronze 1st - YS70
Bronze 2nd - JR 6 channel DMSS TX

If we have enough entries to offset my costs for field use, Worker raffle prizes, and trophies we will also offer the following
Gold 1st - $cash to be determined
Silver 1st - $cash to be determined
Bronze 1st - $cash to be determined

I am optimistic we will have the needed entries for cash payouts in all classes
I will be arriving at the field Thursday Nov 5th
Rumor has it Jeff Robinson is already there flying his 28 planes

Don't forget the dash for cash payout of $500 thanks to APC
Anyone can enter
2 passes in either direction taking your fastest pass.

Engines cannot start until 9:00 due to noise restrictions

We will have worker meetings then pilot meetings then racing starts at 9:00 Sharp.
We can fly until sunset

St night is speed dash as well as BBQ dinner provided by the club for an additional $10. Please help us help them so we can enjoy continued championship races in the future

There will also be a raffle prize that the Fresno Club is sponsoring.

We are now only 4 weeks away

Thx to YS Engines, JRAMERICAS, Horizon Hobby, APC Prop, Fresno Area Modelers Club, SUPRA (for the course equipment), And all of you for participating

Dan & Bert, If you two guys think complimenting me in such esoteric, clandestine, ways will make me consider throwing the race to your advantage you're sadly, yea grotesquely, mistaken ladies!!! Regardless, my friends, thank you for the sincere and kind words as well as recognizing flattery will get you to all but the highest echelon's in at least one of my sociopathic personalities!

Changing props... I have been spending nearly countless hours pouring over methanol-based fuel data in hopes of concocting something either; a) capable of blowing your doors off; or b) capable of just stripping the chrome cylinder lining right off with reckless abandon! Either way, it will be g-l-o-r-i-o-u-s (pronounce while rolling the 'r', please) and unforgettable.

Changing props again...Marty, that is wonderful news this is bound to be an international event pal! Thanks for all the effort you and the local club have been putting into this!

Dean, I just hope that in the study of all the charts and graphs and statistical analysis you actually remember to turn left...More than once...

I do love when the smack-talkin' & friendly banter starts-up just before the race. I can hardly wait to meet you all face-to-face!

It is always fun racing against Tetsuo; and was great to meet and compete with Harold at the Trashman/YS race in September. I'm glad he's convinced another friend to make the trip from Canada and give it a go. Great job in even further expanding the scope of international participation, Marty!

Pretty soon this may be the International Scale Warbird Racing Championship Race.

(Guess I better get to work finishing a back-up, or I may be in trouble.)

Dean will not be allowed the Mic or any other toys. He is only allowed in the pool of his peers.

Well I did mention travelers from Utah being questionable but it was in reference to Marty.

You both need to be very careful when using my name in public places. I would for sure not use Dean's name either.
California will never be the same when the Utah crew departs, that's for sure.

Note on the radar gun: it only records speeds up to 150 mph so someone needs to bring one for the rest of us. This one will work for Shawns plane only. Sorry Trixie... he called me out first

I was under the impression that the speed dash was of the airplanes in flight and not in the back of my SUV being transported.
