RE: P-40 Racing Bird anyone know
In addition to the P-40N called "Parrothead" (Race #17) that Tommy Gun has pictured above, there was a P-40E called "Sneak Attack" (Race #18) that both raced in the UnlimitedBronze Class in 2009.
Ihaverepeatedly tried toattacha coupleadditional photos I tookon the Saturdayof the event, but the site is having trouble accepting my upload. I will try again, later.
In the meantime, you can go to http://www.airrace.org/raceResultsQueryDisplay.phpand view their results.

Don't use the BETA uploader. I couldn't get it to work last night. I used the "Click here to upload images and files!" and it worked fine. Make sure your files meet the file sized restrictions too.

Hey Chris,
I tried both methods and neither worked. I think the images were just too large. They have been downsized, so here it goes:
(P.S. I just got a pair of your YS exhaust headers from Skids. I'm looking forward to putting then to use. Thanks!)

Glad you got it figured out. Thanks for the business too. I'm hoping to come to the June SAMS race with my new toy. It'd be great to meet all of you I've chatted with here on RCU.

wow, thanks guys, some day I'm going have to see one myself in fullsize, it is my opinion that the P-40 is the most beautiful of all old War Birds (P-36 is cool too), and I always knew the P-40 would look cool in silver LOL
so the next question,, is,, did the P-40 ever win a race ??
thanks again !!

The parrot won a race in 2009 I believe. I think it was the Bronze Final.
Go here and look around:

There's alot of history on that site.
