Giles Built up wing help
Hello
I am designing a wing for a giles 202 but i want the both spars to come in parallel and not in the tapered line so when i join the wing i get parllel spars for the joining the ply doubllers, any suggestions or pics, i am using a free ware software to design the wing.

Not sure if I understand your question correctly but I assume this wing is symmetrical? If so, place the top and bottom spars at the widest point of the wing ribs.

I took a good look around myself for one and ended up concluding that buying compufoil3d was the best route to go. However, there are a few websites out there that will calculate the coordinates for airfoils. You can then input them into your cad program and draw in your own spars etc...

I would cut foam wings, the taper leading edge and straight trailng make for difficult build solution. Here is a photo of 87" Giles wing platform in foam.
