I have being working with the wing for some time now and it is ready for the paint job. First I finised with the retracts then I glased it sanded it, applied spray filer and then I sanded it again. Now I'm waiting for the weather to worm up for the paint job.

There is a change of plan. The scale hit the 17kgr so far and the sc radial might not be up for the task. So the decision was made for the upgrade to zenoah gt80. The reasons for that where first of all more power, more economy, it will help to get the cg better - fingers crosed without any dead weight - and it fits the cowl. I hope its going to be for the best.

The new engine is mounted on the firewall and its time for the mods from nitro to gas
Lets see the Checklist.
First of all its the fuellines and the cap the tank.
The fuell filer
Make a bellcrank for the choke
New servo for the throtle
Kill switch
Guess thats about it.

What a wonderful build you are doing!!! You have really worked through the challenges and problems that come with re-sizing an existing plan. I'm afraid my smaller version is still in the box awaiting time for building Life and turbines have gotten in the way of my propeller planes. Bill

Thank you Bill for your kind words. The truth is that it has more challenges as a project than I thought but I had a lot of help from great modelers to overcome them. I am confident that sometime you will also unbox your H-1 and enjoy the build as much as I did.

Thanks Dan,
the paint I'm using is the kind that is used for cars with the varnish in the color and the use of hardener is needed.
I don't know the brand because the color is custom made but I'll try to find out If you'd like.
